3. Let's work together to find your dream home!
We will need a buyer representation agreement signed prior to viewing any homes, so it's important that we talk so I can discuss how I work to see if I am the right realtor for you.

The home search begins. Once you have a list of properties, you can coordinate with your realtor to schedule the showings.
Once you decide on a home, let your realtor know so you can discuss the next step: making an offer.
4. Make an offer.
5. Seller has accepted your offer andyou are now officially under contract.
Remember! You will need to pay the earnest money within 3 days of the executed contract date. The earnest money deposit is typically 1% of the home's sale price.
6. Get a home inspection.
This is optional but highly recommended. You want to make sure the house you will be living in does not have any major issues that will make you regret now knowing.
Homeowner's Insurance
Your lender will require you to have this prior to closing. Shop around to get the best price and coverages.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
You have the number of days listed on your option period to back out of the contract and get your earnest money back. This is why inspections are highly recommended. Once your option period ends, you can still back out of the contract for a valid reason - however the seller gets to keep the earnest money deposit.
Remember you will have to pay your closing costs at closing! Your lender will instruct you and your realtor on how that will paid.
10. Closing
Prior to closing you will have a final walk-through of the home. After everything is signed at the title company you will receive your keys and YOU ARE OFFICALLY A HOMEOWNER!!!
Congrats! :)
Now simply enjoy your home & remember you can always refinance your home - or when you are ready to upgrade or downsize - we are here to help!
If you’re a homebuyer working with an agent who is a REALTOR®, it means you are working with a professional ethically obligated to work in your best interest. As of August 17, 2024, you will be asked to sign a written buyer agreement after you’ve chosen the professional you want to work with. Here’s what you should know about these agreements:
A written buyer agreement is an agreement between you and your real estate professional outlining the services your real estate professional will provide you, and what they will be paid for those services.
You will be asked to enter into a written buyer agreement with your real estate professional before “touring” a home with them, either in-person or virtually. If you are simply visiting an open house on your own or asking a real estate professional about their services, you do not need to sign a written buyer agreement.
While you are responsible for paying your real estate professional as outlined by your agreement, you can still request, negotiate for, and receive compensation for your real estate professional from the seller or their agent.
